Technical Specs

First, let’s take a look at some of the technical specifications of the vehicle. The Base and Premium trim levels are both powered by a 2.0L 4-cylinder BOXER engine capable of generating 152 horsepower. When equipped with its standard 6-speed manual transmission, it achieves 22 miles per gallon through the city and 29 mpg on the highway, while it gets 28/33 respectively with the Lineartronic CVT.

The Sport and Limited trim levels instead come powered by a 2.5L BOXER engine that can dole out 182 hp. It only features the Lineartronic CVT and thus achieves 27 mpg through the city and 34 mpg on the highway.

Finally, there’s the Crosstrek Hybrid, which features a 2.0L engine and StarDrive Technology to achieve 17 miles of all-electric driving range, 35 miles per gallon and 90 MPGe.
