First introduced back in 1989, it has been through seven generations and even a couple of different body styles. What’s new for 2025?
The engineers didn’t feel they needed to change too much this year, but they did shuffle around the features and technologies that are standard in the vehicle. More specifically, they added a few features to the Limited trim level to increase its value even more. Starting for the 2025 model year, the Legacy Limited will come standard with a power moonroof, a 360-degree heated steering wheel and the DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System.
Available Trim Levels
This year Legacy customers will be able to choose from five different trim levels, starting of course with the base model. From there you move up to the Premium trim level, which offers a couple different upgrade packages if you’d like to add a few extra features without moving up to the next level. That next level is Limited, followed by Sport and Touring XT. As the top-tier trim, the Touring XT is packed full of the best standard content available in the model.
Subaru EyeSight
Finally, we always want to make sure to mention the Subaru EyeSight suite of advanced driver-assistive safety technologies as these features are some of the most sought after in any vehicle. This year standard EyeSight includes Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering, LED Steering Responsive Headlights with High Beam Assist, LED fog lights and a Rear-Vision Camera with Adaptive Guidelines. Automatic Emergency Steering is added on certain models.
