The first vehicle to be announced for the 2025 model year from the Subaru brand was the Forester back in November. Exterior & Interior Design
As is the case with just about every generational shift, the 2025 Subaru Forester has been redesigned from the inside out. It features a much sleeker, more contemporary overall aesthetic but doesn’t sacrifice its signature ruggedness in the process. Some specific design enhancements include three standard underguards, an air outlet at the trailing edge of the front wheel opening, steep rear glass, a contoured dashboard and dark headliner and much more.
Performance & Capability
Each and every 2025 Forester will be powered by a 2.5L SUBARU BOXER engine capable of generating 180 horsepower alongside 178 pound-feet of torque. The engine is tethered to a Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission system, which features steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters on certain trim levels. Other capability- and performance-enhancing features include X-MODE with Hill Descent Control, Active Torque Vectoring, SI-Drive and more.
Comfort & Convenience
On today’s market your vehicle better be comfortable and convenient or shoppers aren’t going to buy it, and the Forester certainly offers plenty of both. Thanks to sound dampening efforts there’s been a reduction in noise attenuation from the roof panel of about 39%. Dual-zone climate control makes sure the cabin remains comfortable, while the kick sensor-activated Hands-Free Power Rear Gate is certainly convenient. And we’ve only scratched the surface.
